Embraer-145 AEW&C Platform
With a strong presence in the Indian market, Embraer hasproducts in operation by government and private companies. In theexecutive aviation segment, the company has earned a prominent position and closed deals with Aviators India Pvt Ltd and InvisionPvt Ltd. The first Phenom 100 delivered to India by Invision been received and are part of an order for 18 Phenom 100 and twoPhenom 300.
India's government currently operates five Legacy 600 jets - four in the Indian Air Force (Indian Air Force - IAF), used to transportauthorities, and in a Border Security Force (Border Security Force- BSF), under the Ministry of Outside of India. The government alsocommissioned three aircraft airborne early warning and controlEMB 145 AEW & C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) toperform missions of Intelligence, Surveillance andReconnaissance (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance -ISR). They will be equipped with a modern electronic monitoring system currently under development by the Research andDevelopment of the Ministry of Defence of India (DefenceResearch & Development Organisation - DRDO). This deal also includes training, technical support, spare parts and ground support equipment.
